Molds are constructed to operate within our advanced molding facility. APM's injection tooling is designed to provide a wide range capacity, from 2-cavity to 60-cavity molds.
 | Strict engineering, mold manufacturing practices and guidelines have been developed through APM's experience and by exceeding industry standards. Only quality, reputable mold manufacturers capable of machining to repeatable succinct tolerances (typically plus or minus .0001 to .0002 of an inch) are contracted to build APM molds. |
APM reviews all mold drawings to ensure adherence to our engineering specifications and guidelines. Absolute accountability is required, as manufacturers are required to guarantee their molds, and utilize specified materials. Pre-hardened stainless steel mold bases, mechanical and mold component steels are selected from a variety of hardened tool steels for precise application. These requirements ensure the durability and longevity of molds and maintain APM's zero defect standard. |
